1st Place - Anastazja (Ana) Mankowski

2nd Place - Eric Mourin

This year's essay question was "Are our Country’s Founding Documents (The Constitution and Bill of Rights) still relevant?" and both winners did an excellent job composing interesting and well written essays.  Ana, granddaughter of Ann Strickland, read her essay to the attending members of the May meeting.  Eric is the son of Marlene Mourin.  Ana's essay can be found here. 

 

NAPS Branch 146 President, William Rodriguez, presented Ana with a check for $1000 and Eric with a check for $500.  Congratulations to both Ana and Eric for outstanding essays!
