This year's essay question was "College tuition and large student loans with high finance rates can be financially crippling for graduates. What, if anything, can be done to make a college degree more affordable?" 

 

Our 1st place winner, Khyla, is the granddaughter of NAPS member and Sergeant-At-Arms, Patricia Guyton and her husband, Scott.  Our 2nd place winner, Matison, is the daughter of NAPS member, Lisa Alderman.  Both essays were excellent.  Due to COVID-19 and the cancellation of our regular meetings since last February 2020, Khyla was unable to attend a meeting to read her essay to the NAPS members, however, both recipients have already received their respective awards.
